Spring Vignon Manor Fam Wedding | Olivia & Harit
Last spring, I had the pleasure of photographing Olivia & Harit’s wedding at Vignon Manor Farm. It was a beautiful and rainy Saturday that stands out in my memory.
Olivia, Harit, and their amazing planner Caitie designed a spring garden party insipired wedding day that complemented Vignon Manor Farm so well! Y’all already know that I LOVE color so this wedding was so very much up my alley. I also adore spring weddings, so I have absolutely no notes for this one.
The Spring Details Perfect for Vignon Manor Farm
I certainly cannot go any further without mentioning the GORGEOUS spring florals that Kate designed for this wedding that complemented Vignon Manor Farm so well and brought it to life. These florals live rent-free in my head.
Every detail was thoughtfully designed and perfectly placed!
Getting Ready at Vignon Manor Farm
Olivia & Harit had a lot of friends and family surrounding them as they got ready for their wedding ceremony, which meant a lot of love to be felt in these rooms.
Indoor Ceremony at Vignon Manor Farm
While an indoor ceremony wasn’t their initial dream for their wedding, a pretty intense thunderstorm moved Olivia & Harit’s ceremony inside. The good news is, Vignon Manor has a beautiful option for indoor ceremonies that easily fit all of their many guests.
Couples Portraits in the Rain
I tell all of my clients that it absolutely POURED cats and dogs on my wedding day, and while it’s not what I would have wished for and wouldn’t necessarily wish it for others, I adore my photos. They are so romantic and magical. Rain on your wedding day is NOT a death sentence to the beauty of your day. I love the texture in the skies, the romance of huddling together under an umbrella…it’s pretty magical, if you let it be.
A Killer Dance Party Reception
Olivia & Harit’s dance floor was FULL all night long. Prior to their wedding in Maryland, the couple and their families and closest friends had a wedding celebration in India (yes I had FOMO). One of my favorite things about their wedding was seeing how much Olivia’s friends and family clearly grew to love what they experienced of Indian culture while they were there. Olivia and her dad surprised Harit with some Indian dancing at their reception, and then Olivia’s bridesmaids and friends surprised HER with a special dance they learned too! It was so fun.
