Veronica & Dom's Elopement | NYC Wedding Photographer
I got an email from Veronica one week before her elopement asking me if I was available to do their photos. I said "OMG YES PLEASE." Because NYC + Historic Ship + Elopement = GOALS.
Veronica and Dom got married on one of the ships that belongs to the South Ferry Seaport Museum, which is on the southernmost tip of Manhattan. They were surrounded by their closest family and friends, and to sum it up, they were just so happy. Their vows were genuine and personal, and it was just so obvious how much they love each other and what a perfect match they are.
Veronica is from Australia, where they will be having a larger ceremony at a later date, but to be a part of their initial ceremony here was a dream. I hope that anyone reading this gets to attend an elopement someday. It is truly one of the most lovely experiences. No bells and whistles, just the genuine desire and excitement to marry your best friend.
Though it was the middle of February and it was a little chilly, the sun was shining brightly, without a cloud in the sky (a little bit to my chagrin, fellow photogs, am i right?!), and it was just the most beautiful day. If you've ever been to NYC in February, you know how this all could have turned out.
Here are some of the highlights! I hope you feel a little bit of their love shining through.
