Lindsay & Phil | NYC Wedding Photographer

Everyone says that New York City is a magical place.

Well, if I'm being honest, I forget that sometimes, because I'm here so much and it's also a really difficult environment sometimes, but when awesome couples like Lindsay & Phil want to run around the city to all their favorite places for their portrait session, I sure am reminded about that magic. These two put so much thought into their session and we were able to hit several important locations to them, like where they met, and at the Starbucks where they got coffee before their first date at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, our last stop.  Lindsay also brought along the Love Actually-esque cards she used to tell Phil that she loved him.

Phil was visiting New York from England where he lives, and he and Lindsay ended up meeting at the Mean Fiddler on Valentine's Day, of all days! I'm sure no one walking past us understood why we'd take pictures there at a bar in the middle of the Theatre District, but I loved what it meant to them. People probably felt the same way when we asked them to move from their table at Starbucks because that's the table Lindsay and Phil sat at on their first date, but they happily moved because of another sweet idea.

I personally LOVE the Met, and it's a place that my boyfriend Ryan and I go very frequently, so it's important to me too! I was so excited when Lindsay told me that was where they wanted to do the majority of their photos. It's just made to be photographed.

I couldn't let our time together be done until I made them pose in front of the taxis, because, well...NYC! Enjoy a little glimpse at our fun winter afternoon together!
